Warren Buffett Writes Farewell Letter to Shareholders

Warren Buffett, one of the wealthiest people in the world, has written a final letter to shareholders as head of investment company Berkshire Hathaway. In May, Buffett announced his plans to step down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway by the end of 2025. He recommended Vice Chairman Greg Abel as his successor. ‘I will no longer write the annual Berkshire report or endlessly talk at the annual shareholder meeting… As the British would say, I will ‘shut up’,’ the letter released by the company stated. Buffett reminded that Abel will take over the company at the end of the year, wishing him many successful years ahead. The billionaire concluded the letter by giving some advice to shareholders, such as not blaming themselves for past mistakes and moving forward.
