Raina’s mutual fund investments amount to Rs 6.64 crore, while Dhawan’s seized assets include property worth Rs 4.5 crore. The ED’s action is based on investigations related to several FIRs against the illegal offshore betting platform 1xBet operational in India.

OBC Case: In the OBC case, the Supreme Court’s rebuke to the state raises questions on why the old case is being heard. Until further direction from the Supreme Court, the Calcutta High Court cannot proceed with the OBC case. Chief Justice B.R. Gavai criticized the Calcutta High Court for continuing hearings on old cases. He noted that if they were hearing the case, why is the High Court insisting on old cases, when the new case is already pending.

SSC News Update: 166 teachers are being recruited in the same district they were employed before. The process of reinstating 4,000 teachers to their former positions has begun.
