The Brazilian Women’s Futsal Team won their debut against Iran, 4-1. In the group stage, they also defeated Italy 6-1 and Panama 9-0, advancing as leaders of Group D. In the knockout stage, they beat Japan 6-1, followed by a 4-1 victory against Spain in the semifinals. The team is led by coach Wilson Saboia.
