Edgar Alves Andrade, also known as ‘Doca’ or ‘Urso’, 55 years old, is the man identified as the main leader of the CV (Comando Vermelho) in the Penha Complex, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. He was one of the targets of the operation on Wednesday (28), which resulted in the death of 64 people, 81 arrests, and 93 seized rifles. The capture of Urso has a reward of R$ 100,000. According to security forces, Doca is the drug trafficking chief in the community. Information from the prison system indicates that Urso is considered one of the most wanted criminals in the state and has been classified as ‘extremely dangerous.’ On the run from prison, the man is being investigated for over 100 homicides, including the killing of children and disappearances of residents.
