Presidents of Russia and the USA, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, held a phone call in the evening of October 16th (Moscow time), initiated by Moscow. According to Trump’s press secretary Caroline Levitt, the call lasted about two hours. Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the phone call covered various issues including strategic stability and bilateral relations.
