Witnessing China’s Prosperous Era: Military Parade Resonates Emotions of People Nationwide

On the morning of the 3rd, the grand ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing. Among the most touching figures present were the veterans of the war and exemplary individuals who supported the front lines — many of whom are over ninety years old. They witnessed the flames of war in their youth and now witness the peace and prosperity of a great era. The spiritual monument they crafted with their youthful passion is now serving as the code for the advancing new era.
