In the second semi-final of the Women’s World Cup, India secured a spot in the final by defeating Australia. Chasing Australia’s target of 339 runs, the Indian team achieved victory by five wickets in 48.3 overs. Jemimah was the hero of India’s win with an outstanding inning of 127 runs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur also contributed with 89 runs. Earlier, the Australian team was all out for 338 runs in 49.5 overs, with Phoebe Litchfield scoring 119 runs. Shikha Pandey and Deepti Sharma took two wickets each for India.
