World’s Tallest Bridge in Guizhou Huajiang Canyon Bridge Officially Opened Today with Real-time Monitoring + Automatic Dehumidification

On September 28th, according to CCTV News, the world’s tallest bridge, Huajiang Canyon Bridge, today opened to traffic, spanning across Zhenfeng County and Guanling County in Guizhou Province. This ‘horizontally and vertically’ outstanding super bridge boasts a main span of 1420 meters, ranking first in mountainous bridge structures globally; with a height difference of 625 meters from the bridge deck to the water surface, also claiming the top spot globally. It will serve as a vital hub connecting the Liuzhi to Anlong Expressway in Guizhou.

The Huajiang Canyon Bridge, as learned by IT Home, spans 2890 meters over the Huajiang Grand Canyon. Previously, residents on both sides had to detour for 2 hours, but with the bridge’s opening, it now takes only 2 minutes to reach the other side, greatly improving local transportation and truly achieving the transformation of ‘impassable barrier…’ [597 chars]
