Xi Jinping: China and APEC countries will maintain support for free trade

Xi Jinping stated that China is committed to supporting free trade and ensuring uninterrupted supply chains along with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) countries. He emphasized the need to uphold a multilateral trading system, strengthen the role of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and ensure stability in production and supply chains. According to Xi Jinping, the current global environment is marked by extreme instability, which also affects the Asia-Pacific region. He stressed the importance of solidarity in such turbulent times and the need to promote economic growth and enhance people’s well-being in line with the fundamental goals of APEC.
