China’s President Xi Jinping stated that China and Brazil can set an example of ‘collective self-reliance’ for global southern countries, as reported by Chinese official media. According to Xinhua News Agency, President Xi said on Monday during a phone call with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva that China is willing to work together with Brazil to set an example for other countries in establishing a ‘fairer world and a more sustainable planet.’
