Yellow Line 4 awaits imported part from France to normalize operation

The Yellow Line 4, operated by ViaMobilidade, continues to operate on a single track between Vila Sonia and Sao Paulo-Morumbi this Thursday (11). The complete normalization of the operation still has no estimated completion date. During an inspection carried out by the concessionaire, it was identified that some equipment was damaged after the train derailment last Tuesday (9). The replacement will be made with imported parts from France. Despite the restriction, ViaMobilidade states that trains are running at regular speed, with regular intervals for the operating schedule. During peak hours, the intervals between Vila Sonia and Sao Paulo-Morumbi are around five minutes. In the rest of the line, between Sao Paulo-Morumbi and Luz, the waiting time is approximately two and a half minutes. On the subway’s website, where the operation is updated in real-time, the information is that the intervals are larger between Vila Sonia and Sao Paulo-Morumbi.
