Yemen’s capital Sanaa saw the death of Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahmany in an Israeli airstrike, confirmed by the Houthi organization. The Houthi organization is retaliating against Israel for its actions in Gaza, supported by Iran. The Israeli military had targeted positions of Houthi government officials in Sanaa. Al-Rahmany had been Prime Minister since August 2024.
