Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that any war resolution with Russia that does not involve Ukraine ‘will undermine peace’ and lead to ‘an unsuccessful deadlock.’ He emphasized that Ukraine ‘cannot violate the constitution regarding its territory and will not hand it over to occupiers.’ Zelensky’s remarks come in response to US President Donald Trump’s announcement to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska next week to discuss a final agreement on the war ongoing since February 2022.
