Drug manufacturer Zydus Lifesciences Ltd announced a strategic partnership on December 9 with Formycon AG for the exclusive licensing and supply of FYB206, a biosimilar of Keytruda (pembrolizumab), in the United States and Canada. Formycon AG will be in charge of the development, registration, manufacturing, and supply of the product, while Zydus Lifesciences Global FZE, based in the United Arab Emirates, will oversee the commercialization of FYB206 in the specified territories. The biologics license application is expected to be submitted to the US FDA soon, with the goal of making immunotherapy more affordable and accessible for patients in need.
